Emma E. Redfern is a BACP-Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist, based in Honiton, Devon, UK. Emma is the most published IFS author in the UK, with four books to her name: the first-ever book on IFS supervision, a guide for therapists transitioning to IFS, an introductory guide, and Freeing Self: IFS Beyond the Therapy Room, co-edited with Helen Foot. Freeing Self gathers international contributors applying IFS beyond therapy settings, including an introduction, eleven chapters, reminders about the model, and a glossary of specialist non-IFS terms.
